Valhalla Skis

Hey I am Freddi, the man behind Valhalla Ski. I love building stuff since I remember. It all started as a kid when I really loved being in the workshop of my dad. That passion together with my passion for mountains and snow lead me to create Valhalla Ski. As I love skiing and snowboarding in powder, my gliding devices are made for the ultimate floate in soft snow. I am trying to build my skis and boards as sustainable as possible, therefor I am using an environmentally friendlier epoxy-system and natural fibers wherever it makes sense and my whole workshop is powered by only sunlight. A little extra is that my skis are build to last and to be easy repaired.

With utter dedication for handcrafting and mountains we build all our stuff in a small manufactory in Freiburg, Germany. Besides a lot of hands on work we use fine machinery to get an exact and high performing ski or snowboard. Since we love snow sports, we are trying to minimize our environmental impact wherever possible. Our whole manufactory is only powered by solar energy, coming straight from the roof. We also use natural fibers wherever it makes sense and an epoxy which is more environmental friendly. Our core product is a light powder and freeride touring ski, aside from an all-mountain ski and powder oriented snowboards. Always keen to offer prospective clients individualistic fulfillments of their ski or snowboard dreams, they can even join us in a workshop. From the humble beginnings of building the first ski twelve years ago, today Valhalla Skis – named after the Canadian provincial park renowned for its deep snow – take their pride of places worldwide.
